Module: Suggesting orders into production

Executive summary

The present module Suggesting orders into production is an additional module to the module Purchase orders. The module displays (and works further) with the suggested production.

This module cannot work with a bulk-suggested production in the GUI. Instead, you have to work with the suggested production work in STOCK and export it to the primary ERP later.

If you need to see a production of a specific product for a specific warehouse, you can do it in the module: Detail.

Functional description

Displaying suggestions of production

As it has already been said in the executive summary, there is no bulk-display of the suggestions in STOCK. Specific suggestions of a product to a warehouse can be displayed on the module Detail. In addition to the display of the suggested orders, also BOM can be seen: thus, you see the raw materials and their quantities needed for the product’s production. Find more in the module: Detail.

Export of suggested orders into production to the primary ERP

Given that the STOCK’s GUI does not work directly with suggestions for production, you can choose one of the two following methods to work with the module: either export using a data warehouse or export using a specific interface directly into the ERP.

Export suggested orders using data warehouse

As part of the standard functionality of this module, you can see the data warehouse with suggested orders into production. It is into the data warehouse where (after every night recomputation) the suggested orders get exported. More information can be found in the module: Data warehouse.

Export suggested orders using a specific interface to the primary ERP

If the automated export using data warehouse is not good enough for you, a special, tailor-made export to your system can be made, so that the suggested orders can be loaded into your system.
